PIRATE BOOSTERS
The Port Charlotte High Football Boosters is an organization that is responsible for helping our Pirates raise money and obtain the things that we need to have a successful season! Our motto is quite simple: “Whatever it takes for Our Pirates!” The Football Boosters are made up of PCHS football parents and friends of the program. Each parent is asked to help the program in any way possible. We realize that there are circumstances that preclude a high level of involvement, so we ask each member to contribute a minimum of two hours per season.
The Football Boosters are responsible for operating the football concession stand, selling football program advertisements, and serving pre- and post-game meals to the players during the season. Our Boosters also participate in fund raising events throughout the year, including the annual Pirate Golf Scramble.
The Boosters are organized around the Booster Liaison, Bryan Bouton. Mr. Bouton works closely with Coach Hoffer to insure that our Pirates have all that they need, both on and off the field, during the season and off-season. Mr. Bouton schedules meetings, oversees concession workers, and coordinates volunteers for various football events and happenings that occur throughout the year.
Additionally, Mr. Bouton is, for lack of a better term, a "stopgap" between the Head Football Coach and the Booster members.
